MEMBRANE PRESSURE-DROP INTEGRITY TEST

The pressure-drop integrity test is a non-destructive analysis of the state of the filtering cartridge membranes to detect any breakages.
The test consists of pressurising the housing upstream of the membrane filter elements, appropriately wet, at a pressure specified in the filter's technical data sheet. Measuring the decline in pressure after 10 minutes compared with the maximum decline possible provides the test result.
The pressure-drop test tool can be integrated into the ACRAM automatic microfiltration systems.
The ACRAM system can be used in the oenological, food and beverage sectors, whenever it is necessary to test membrane filtering elements.
