APS: MEASURING SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING WINE WITH CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

The system is installed in the wine reception area of the winery.
The system is a volumetric measurement system in accordance with MID Directive 2014/32/EU MI-005.
The system is manufactured in various models with flows of 15,000, 30,000, 45,000, 60,000 and 75,000 litres/hour and can be sanitised in a CIP-SIP cycle;

The system can be equipped with the following optional accessories:
  • printers
  • temperature probe
  • pH probe
  • sample-extractor
  • refrigerated store for automatic collection of samples
  • data management software
  • loading/unloading data
  • interfacing with the management PLC of the premises, the supervisory system or the corporate computing centre for the transfer of reports or data

Thanks to its ease of use and movement and the precision measurement of the wine received, the system is suitable for installation in the reception zone of medium/large wineries.
The ability to print the measured wine value, perform a representative sampling and ascertain the temperature are significant characteristics of the APS system.

Advantages:
  • Measures the volume of wine with utmost precision and without conversions (tool accuracy better than 0.2%)
  • Only the wine entering the premises is measured
  • It does not need an upper suction head as the wine is aspirated via vacuum pump;
  • The flow rate is optimised according to the suction and discharge conditions (e.g. heat exchanger, long pipes, high tanks);
  • All the instrumentation can be calibrated according to ISO standards
  • It can be connected to the corporate PLC via Profibus or Ethernet IP;
  • Records waste and washing operations;
  • In case of high temperature or acidity, loading of the wine can be blocked and interrupted
  • The measured value is printed on the load stamp
  • It can be interfaced with corporate PLCs

Benefits:
  • Easy to install, does not require underground chambers or semi-basements;
  • No need for installation and management of a weighbridge;
  • Pay only for the amount of wine you receive
  • It is a tool that protects both the buyer and the seller
  • Avoids air being drawn into the wine during loading
  • Degasses the wine, thus improving its quality
  • Reduces tank discharge time by avoiding weighing operations;
  • Saves on manual labour due to highly automated operations;
  • It can pump directly into a heat-exchanger;
  • It does not need buffer tanks;
  • No costs for modifications to tankers;
  • Tracks and sends all the operations performed
